Coinbase, the leading cryptocurrencycryptocurrency exchange in the US, today released the Android version of its Coinbase Pro app, three months after it launched the app for iOS devices. It goes live with all 54 trading pairs listed on Coinbase Pro, which is available in over a hundred countries and services and aimed at professional investors.
The Android app works just like the iOS version, meaning it’s filled with the same graphs, charts, order books and advanced order types.

The app was also updated to provide users on both platforms new features, such as deposits and withdrawals into fiat and cryptocrypto accounts, and passcode authentication.
“Designed to provide advanced crypto traders with the necessary tools to make trades on the go, the Coinbase Pro mobile app for Android enables traders to capitalize on market conditions at any time, wherever they are,” wrote Linda Xie, product manager, Coinbase Pro, in an announcement for the app.
The fees on Android app are also the same—yes, the same ones that were hiked back in October, when fees for users trading below $10,000 a month increased by 233 percent.
But, while Coinbase celebrates its Android release this week, last week users of the iOS version of its Coinbase Wallet app wept when Apple pressured Coinbase to remove the ability to browse for decentralized apps.
