Tezos jumps 15% to hit highest price since early June

Tezos is on a tear. While XTZ may have dropped to 13th on the crypto rankings by market cap, at this rate, it might soon flip EOS to regain that 12th spot. Tezos jumped by more than 15% today and was briefly trading above $3 per coin for the first time since early June. XTZ has since cooled off a bit and is trading for right around $2.95—still a 12% increase on the day. Prior, the last time Tezos price spiked this impressively was in late April, when the price of XTZ went from $2.14 to $2.86....

Ripple (XRP) is currently riding its biggest price surge in nearly a month. XRP is now back to trading above $0.20 per coin for the first time since June 11. Since then, XRP bears had been in control, driving the price of the coin down to as low as $0.17 by June 28. This despite expansion efforts from Ripple, specifically in Brazil and throughout Latin America, which in the past have helped boost confidence in XRP. Chainlink price pumps 20% to reach new all-time high

Chainlink (LINK) is not yet a top 10 cryptocurrency by market cap, but at this rate, it soon might. Chainlink today shot up by close to 20% in price and is currently trading for $5.80, eclipsing its previous all-time high of just under $5 that it hit in March of this year. LINK is still a relatively new coin, having launched in an ICO in September 2017, which raised more than $30 million. Chainlink sold for a mere $0.09 during its pre-sale, and started off its few months trading at around $0.20...

Bitcoin threatens to break below $9K as stocks ride high

It’s been a rough day for crypto, with many of the industry’s leading assets in the red, including Bitcoin. The market leader is down nearly 2% and trading at just over $9,100. Bitcoin even briefly dipped below $9,000 today, testing resistance levels. The same is true of Ethereum and XRP, which are each down about 2% on the day. And prices aren’t the only things that are down today. While the crypto industry is no stranger to scams, it’s been a particularly bad day for exploits. Cybersecurity f...

Stock, crypto markets slide following surge in COVID-19 cases

It’s been a rough day for both crypto and stocks alike, as the US economy reels from a recent uptick in COVID-19 cases. Most coins today are in the red, as the combined market capitalization for cryptocurrencies today sank by around $11 billion. Bitcoin, for example, has fallen by nearly 4% in price, currently trading for around $9,200 per coin, erasing the gains from earlier in the week (even if the asset is still outperforming gold this year.) Ethereum, meanwhile, has likewise dropped by 4%, p...
