Decrypt University to Relaunch Community With ‘Dynamic Utilities’ by Galaxis

Decrypt’s educational platform Decrypt University is set to relaunch in the new year, with a major upgrade integrating on-chain certification from Web3 SocialFi platform Galaxis.

The cutting-edge system will “redefine user engagement” and bring “innovative dynamic utilities, transparency and trust” to Decrypt University’s digital learning community, Galaxis said in a statement.

“We started with education,” said Decrypt co-founder and CPO Ilan Hazan, adding that, “we always wanted for people to actually use the technology and not just learn about it.”

To date, Decrypt University users have minted over 250,000 certificates, he said, explaining that the experience of doing so “gets you to another level of understanding” of the Web3 ecosystem in a way that passively reading about it doesn’t.

Galaxis CEO Gergely Fábián said that the integration of the blockchain firm’s technology with Decrypt University will be a “really good showcase” for on-chain certification and the “benefits you can add to the community.”

“You can add to your members with engagement, with additional goodies, with trades, even with physical redeemables,” Fábián explained, adding that using smart contracts powered by Galaxis, Decrypt University can provide “dynamic and intelligent certificates, not just a picture.”

“We’re taking a protocol approach,” Hazan said, adding that, “the interoperability of it allows us to do an immense amount of partnerships and added benefits on multiple levels.” Those benefits could include integrations between Decrypt University and the newly launched MYRIAD prediction market and engagement platform, he said. “Obviously there’s this crossover with education there,” he added.

Web3 platform Galaxis provides the infrastructure atop which creators and brands can build “unstoppable communities,” ranging from notable figures such as Donald Trump, Steve Aoki and Mike Tyson, to household names like the NBA, and institutions such as the historic Lobkowicz art collection.

Using NFTs and utility tokens built atop Galaxis’ infrastructure, Fábián said, “communities can thrive, they can engage more, they can monetize better. It’s a no-code platform, so it’s very easy.” As well as its own platform, Galaxis provides white label services for different corporate use cases. “You have your own design, but all the back end technology is powered by Galaxis.”

Fábián, who has a background in education and finance, added that the crypto space needs “trained people” to grow further. “There is a huge and bright future,” he said, “and we’ll have the numbers, with hundreds of thousands of Decrypt University certificates powered by Galaxis technology.”
