Decrypt, the next-generation media outlet navigating the intersection of culture and technology, in partnership with the Fananees NFT project, which brings MBC Group’s most beloved Ramadan characters to the exciting world of digital collectibles, and Weconn, a research and education-oriented initiative dedicated to exploring the diverse applications of blockchain technology, have launched Decrypt U in Arabic.
Decrypt U is an educational initiative providing learning about blockchain technology and the ever-expansive world of Web3. The new courses in Arabic were created from the ground up to cater to the Middle East and North African (MENA) region to cover the most relevant and fundamental topics in the industry. Students are invited to read through the course materials, then test their knowledge to be eligible to receive on-chain “graduation” certificates in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). The certificates will be awarded for free.
Once minted, the Decrypt U certificate NFTs serve as identifiers for partners to continuously reward students. Other projects’ NFTs, perks, discounts, and more will be distributed to certificate holders in the future.
