In brief
- Move-to-earn protocol Sweat is adding an AI agent and going multi-chain with its token.
- The AI agent, Mia, will assist users with fitness and finance via a simple chat interface.
- The platform will embrace a multi-chain existence with support for Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain.
Fitness app and move-to-earn platform Sweat, which rewards users with SWEAT tokens for walking, is joining the horde of companies leaning into artificial intelligence by revealing plans to launch Mia, a personalized AI agent.
Mia, which stands for “Movement in Action,” is powered by Near Protocol’s Near AI infrastructure. Launching inside of the Sweat Wallet, it’s designed to provide users with an embedded assistant to simplify their Sweat experience, and help them manage their crypto rewards as the platform undergoes a multi-chain expansion to include Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain.
Those chains were selected because of their “strong foundations of DeFi activity, liquidity, dev tooling, and large user bases," Sweat co-founder Oleg Fomenko told Decrypt. The project is planning integrations with Solana, Bitcoin, The Open Network (TON), and more in the future.

“Rather than relying on tutorials or navigating through clunky interfaces, users can simply ask Mia questions in plain language and receive guidance tailored to their activity and preferences,” said Fomenko. “Whether it’s understanding how SWEAT is earned, exploring new features, or learning how to swap or stake assets across supported chains, Mia makes the experience intuitive and conversational.”
Users will be able to access Mia in a chat interface via the Sweat Wallet app on iOS and Android. Here, they can turn to Mia for fitness and financial assistance, like suggestions on optimized movement times or social challenges. In the future, Sweat plans to add deeper personalization features and smart notifications about staking, transaction security tips, and more.

“Ultimately, we see Mia as a key enabler for mainstream adoption, helping people feel confident in crypto—even if they’ve never touched a wallet before,” said Fomenko.
The SWEAT token has attracted 20 million holders to date, according to the company’s website. But the app’s makers aim to onboard a much larger audience.

“Our mission to onboard the next billion users is rooted in a simple idea: physical activity is the most universal, inclusive entry point into Web3,” he said.
The app, which expanded into Web3 from its Web2 roots, raised $13 million to lead its jump into crypto in 2022.
Other similar apps have seen success in Web3 as well, highlighted by Solana’s Stepn which saw a wave of success back in 2022 and continues to draw players, handing out more than $30 million in airdrops as recently as last year.
Alongside Sweat's Mia AI agent launch and multi-chain expansion, it also unveiled a rebrand and a new website Thursday.
For Fomenko, a successful deployment of Mia will mean faster user onboarding, increased engagement with multi-chain features, and higher user retention.
“She’s designed to accelerate the path from movement to meaningful participation in Web3,” he said.
