There have been some obvious winners of Donald Trump's surprise Solana meme coin launch late Friday: Trump himself, of course, and early investors in the skyrocketing coin. Solana itself also soaring to a new all-time high over the weekend.
But other major meme coins are broadly down, and none more prominent than Dogecoin, the original and still most valuable meme coin by market cap.
DOGE has fallen by more than 15% since TRUMP was launched on Friday, dipping from a price of $0.4318—the highest price seen for Dogecoin in more than a month—to a current mark of $0.3652.
It's down by nearly 7% on the day, but remains up 12% on the week due to earlier gains over the past seven days.
Other notable meme coins have fallen harder on the day, with Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) falling 19% after blasting off to an all-time high price on Sunday, while Dogwifhat (WIF) is down 11%, Floki (FLOKI) is down 9%, and Pepe (PEPE) has fallen 7%.

Broadly, the crypto market is down about 3% over the past 24 hours, per data from CoinGecko.
