Hantavirus case in the US confirmed by May 15?

Market Dates:

• Market Period: From the publication date through May 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
• Market Close: May 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
• Resolution Deadline: The resolution will be determined after the outcome is announced.

Resolution Criteria:

• Resolves to “Yes” if there is a confirmed case of Hantavirus in the territory of the United States of America reported during the Market Period.
• Resolves to “No” if not.

Resolution Details:

• Any laboratory-confirmed hantavirus infection identified within U.S. territory will qualify, regardless of where exposure or symptom onset occurred.
• The primary resolution source for this market will be official government information (e.g., the CDC); however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting will also suffice.

Cancelation Conditions:

• The resolution source is suspended, becomes unreliable, or experiences significant disruptions during the Market Period.
• Any circumstance prevents reliable outcome verification during the Market Period.

If canceled, participants may claim their stakes at the then-current market value of their shares, which could result in a profit or a loss depending on their open positions.
