Ibiza's world-renowned superclubs will be transformed into art galleries for this year's summer season. Award-winning nightlife venues [UNVRS], Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza will launch the first annual Ibiza art expo called Culture Collective, which aims to redefine how art is experienced and disrupt the traditional art gallery format.

The three superclubs will be exhibiting artworks from over 70 international artists including Sir Michael Craig-Martin, British photography legend David Bailey, Italian sculptor Nazareno Biondo, Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama, conceptual artist Pascal Sender, plus a giant mural from Valencian duo PichiAvo, and a vast bas-relief sculpture by Portuguese artist Vhils.

The venues are owned and operated by The Night League, and the art expo has been organised in collaboration with leading UK-based art collective W1 Curates

The fine art creations will be revealed for the first time this weekend on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2026 at the opening parties for the venues with crowds of thousands expected to see the exhibition this weekend alone.

The season-long art showcase is laid out over vast spaces across the three venues and includes an open-air immersive gallery at Hï Ibiza showing a 70m long digital work by Sir Michael Craig-Martin. The exterior of the club has two huge 10m high murals, by artists PichiAvo from Valencia, and UK artist Epod, and the entrance to Hï Ibiza is transformed with a large-scale artwork by Pascale Sender, which combines physical painting and projection mapping to create a breathtaking and life-like digital animation sequence.

The art expo has involved over two years in planning and has been curated and organised by London based artist Mark Dale of W1 Curates in partnership with Yann Pissenem of The Night League, the owner and creative force behind all the nightclub venues.

Mark Dale of W1 Curates said: "The intention for Culture Collective is to make art more accessible and showcase world-class art directly in front of a massive global audience. We're taking art to the masses and re-inventing the concept of the "traditional" gallery, placing art works in much more vibrant and dynamic settings and connecting cultures. Ibiza has long been a global crossroads of creative energy and by transforming the world's most iconic club venues into living canvasses we are redefining how art is experienced - and making it immersive, immediate and powerfully unifying."

Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder and CEO of The Night League said: "At The Night League, our venues are more than clubs. They are cultural canvases where music, art and creativity come together to create shared moments of discovery. Through our collaboration with W1 Curates, we are proud to welcome world-class artists into spaces where diverse international audiences gather each season to connect, explore and encounter creativity in unexpected ways."

The exhibition is running from 25th April until mid October,

THE ARTISTS at CULTURE COLLECTIVE

The 2026 programme brings together an extraordinary roster of over 70 artists whose work spans fine art, digital art, urban art, and fashion. Highlights include:

Sir Michael Craig-Martin CBE RA - a contemporary conceptual artist and Royal Academician. A pivotal figure in British art, he is celebrated for his brightly coloured, graphic paintings of everyday objects. As an influential teacher, he played a crucial role in fostering the Young British Artists generation.

Speaking about the Culture Collective expo he said: "The project in Ibiza is very exciting for me because if you're going to do digital work of this kind you have to have the places in order to do it and they need to be done on a very large scale, and that's certainly going to be true in Ibiza. My idea for this is because it's a discotheque is that all of the images should be of musical instruments or things associated with music. I've always be very interested in the idea of public art. I love the idea of people coming across art in a situation where they wouldn't expect to see it. And this is particuarly true of people who wouldn't normally go into an art gallery or museum, so for people to come across it in some aspect of ordinary life, like in a club, that seems to me to be a very interesting idea."

Vhils (Alexandre Farto) — The Portuguese urban art icon will carve a monumental 68-square-metre bas-relief directly into the façade of [UNVRS], transforming the building's architecture into a living artwork. The piece forms part of his internationally acclaimed Scratching the Surface series.

Nazareno Biondo — The Turin-based sculptor will exhibit two of the most extraordinary objects in contemporary art: a life-size Fiat 500 and a Vespa, each hand-carved from a 15-tonne block of solid Carrara marble. Each sculpture took two years to complete.

PichiAvo - a Spanish artist duo from Valencia. Renowned for their "Urban Mythology" style, they seamlessly fuse classical art and contemporary graffiti. Their dynamic murals and sculptures, which bridge historical iconography with urban culture, have gained international acclaim worldwide.

David Bailey - an iconic English fashion and portrait photographer. Rising to prominence in the 1960s at British Vogue, he played a pivotal role in defining the "Swinging London" aesthetic. Over a six-decade career, his bold, intimate portraiture has captured the world's most influential cultural figures.

Hajime Sorayama — The Tokyo-based artist, internationally renowned for his hyperreal “Sexy Robot” aesthetic and mastery of reflective chrome surfaces, has spent decades redefining the boundaries between illustration, industrial design, and fine art. His practice spans meticulously rendered paintings, collaborations with global brands, and increasingly ambitious stainless-steel sculptures, from collectible-scale works to monumental public installations. Celebrated for merging futurism with classical ideals of form and beauty, Sorayama continues to influence contemporary visual culture across art, fashion, and design, and will exhibit at the venues while contributing to the summer symposium series.

Harry Yeff (Reeps100) — The Grammy Award-winning artist and technologist will present Voice Gems: bespoke artworks generated from the unique voice fingerprints of Hï Ibiza's 2026 headline DJs.

Pascale Sender — A Germany-based contemporary artist whose practice explores the intersection of painting, light, and digital technology. Known for creating immersive, multi-sensory environments, his work blends physical and virtual elements to produce dynamic, time-based compositions that evolve between day and night. Sender’s work challenges traditional notions of painting, transforming surfaces into living, responsive artworks that engage audiences in unexpected ways.

A SUMMER SYMPOSIUM & FASHION COLLABORATIONS

Throughout the summer, Culture Collective will host a programme of talks and conversations at the club venues, bringing together artists, musicians and cultural figures. There will be a series of 9 panels on various art focused subjects with speakers include Remi Kabaka Jr., co-creator and producer of Gorillaz, Vhils, Pichiavo and Seth Troxler to name a few.

The collaboration between The Night League and w1 curates also features official tie-ins with Palm Angels and Off-White, two of the most culturally significant luxury streetwear brands in the world.
