The crypto industry is set to descend on Singapore for next month’s Token2049 event, with headline speakers including Binance CEO Richard Teng and Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko next month.

With an expected 20,000 attendees, Token2049 is “the largest crypto event of the year,” co-founder Alex Fiskum said in a statement. He added that, “We look forward to welcoming the global crypto community to Singapore next month for our most dynamic and immersive Token2049 experience yet.”

Other headline speakers at the event, which takes place at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands on September 18-19, include Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen, Grammy nominee Iggy Azalea, Blueprint founder Bryan Johnson, entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan and whistleblower Edward Snowden.

This year’s Token2049 includes the debut of NEXUS, its startup competition for early-stage projects vying to become the next crypto unicorn.

Spread across four floors, Token2049’s attendee experience takes in a Recover zone with ice baths and complementary towels, a Move zone with a Padel court and climbing wall, and a Nourish zone to replenish attendees with food, protein shakes and fresh juices. A Network zone in the foyer includes DJs and a bar area, while the Disconnect zone invites attendees to unwind with an Oasis Room, gong facilitators, a sound bath and breathwork.

Outside of the main event, there’s plenty to see and do with the help of Token2049’s guide to getting around Singapore. The event also encompasses over 500 side events across Singapore, including Karate Combat at the end of Day 1, Crypto Fight Week’s CFN title clash on September 19, and the Network State conference on September 22.

The After2049 closing event will showcase an immersive 360° live sound experience from spatial audio pioneers Polygon Productions, with musical acts including headliners WhoMadeWho, South African DJ and producer Da Capo, and returning acts ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi.
