WanderCorp Foundation introduces $WANDER, a new token that aims to shape the future of entertainment and power the Wanderers universe —a multi-game, multi-media web3 ecosystem.
WanderCorp announces the Token Generation Event (TGE) for $WANDER, launched on Base. As a "universe token," $WANDER will be a part of a dynamic ecosystem spanning gaming, collectibles, and community-driven experiences around the world.The launch represents a significant milestone for Wanderers, the hit sci-fi universe that has generated over 5,700 ETH in ecosystem NFT trading volume since 2021. Built by Nick Greenawalt and Jenna Greenfield and backed by Animoca Brands and GameFi Ventures, the Wander platform continues to evolve. Wanderers, a rogue-like game that combines deck-building mechanics with sci-fi storytelling, is currently free to play in Open Beta on Epic Games.
Through its strategic partnership with Treasure announced in October 2024, the Wanderers game will be powered by the decentralized gaming network, with hints that future WanderDrops will live on Treasure.
