Galaxis, a Web3 SocialFi platform designed to create “unstoppable communities,” has announced a partnership with Web3 entertainment ecosystem HELLO Labs to “empower creators” through high-stakes crypto reality show “Killer Whales.”
The collaboration, which will see Galaxis sponsor “Killer Whales” Season 2 and beyond, will provide the firm with a “global platform” to showcase how creators can "leverage our Web3 infrastructure to build unstoppable, decentralized communities,” Galaxis CEO Gergely Fábián told Decrypt.
As well as featuring the Galaxis brand prominently throughout the show, the sponsorship will include potential partnerships with participants, with the firm “actively supporting the projects featured on the show, especially those that align with Galaxis’s mission to empower creators through decentralized, autonomous communities,” Fábián added.
The brand will also receive promotion across the extensive “Killer Whales” network, encompassing over 500 million viewers on platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime, HELLO TV, Tubi, and Google Play.
What is "Killer Whales"?
Produced by Web3 entertainment company HELLO Labs, “Killer Whales” sees established and would-be Web3 entrepreneurs invited to pitch their crypto and NFT projects to the titular panel of industry experts, aiming to gain as many “Swim” votes as possible and avoid “Sink” votes. Judges on the show include Anthony Scaramucci, AltCoinDaily, Ran Neuner, and Mario Nawfal.
Those who score a “Swim” vote with three of the five whales backing their project win an acceleration package worth $1,500,000 from producers HELLO Labs and CoinMarketCap, as well as Casper and auditing firm Hacken. CoinMarketCap, one of the show’s Executive Producers, incubated Galaxis and introduced the project to “Killer Whales” producer HELLO Labs. “Our track record with successful NFT projects and industry partnerships, such as with CoinMarketCap, made us the ideal partner for the show,” Fábián said.
“The Galaxis team is offering something truly unique in the Web3 space with the community oriented solutions,” Sander Gortjes, Co-Founder and CEO of HELLO Labs and Killer Whales, told Decrypt. He added that, “We’re proud to have them as Official Partner of the Show.”
Announcing plans to “deepen its relationship” with “Killer Whales,” Fábián explained that the firm’s offering “aligns perfectly” with the show’s mission to support Web3 entrepreneurs. "Our infrastructure allows creators to fully control their platforms and communities, which resonates with the high-stakes nature of "Killer Whales"," he said.
What is Galaxis?
Web3 platform Galaxis provides the infrastructure atop which Web3 creators can build “decentralized communities with built-in monetization tools,” Fábián explained. “By managing memberships, distributing rewards, and engaging communities, we help ensure that projects not only launch successfully but also thrive long-term.”
As well as providing the infrastructure underpinning Donald Trump’s NFT collections, Galaxis has worked with celebrities including Steve Aoki and Mike Tyson, brands like the NBA, and institutions such as the historic Lobkowicz art collection, offering them a “complete, Web3 solution where creators can manage memberships, digital assets, and community engagement without needing technical expertise.” Fábián said.
“We provide everything a project needs,” he added, including customizable membership cards, community economies, reward distribution, and engagement solutions—"all designed to give them full control over their digital ecosystems and drive long-term success." That focus on the bigger picture, Fábián said, sets Galaxis apart from “platforms focused solely on NFTs or DeFi.”
"We offer entrepreneurs a platform where they can build sustainable, community-driven businesses," Fábián added, explaining that through its collaboration with "Killer Whales," the firm “aims to foster more collaborations, help Web3 entrepreneurs thrive, and continue to be a leader in decentralized community-building technologies.”
