ChangeNOW has deployed a new deposit processing architecture for Monero (XMR), Polygon (MATIC), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC), and Zcash (ZEC). The update replaces static confirmation thresholds with a dynamic system, reducing wait times for over 90% of transactions.
Performance Analysis by Network
- Monero (XMR): Requirements dropped from 25 to 5 confirmations (5x faster). This is the lowest threshold among tracked competitors; others range from 20 (FixedFloat) to 150 (Godex).
- Polygon (MATIC): The threshold moved from 200 to 7 blocks (28x faster). By comparison, Kraken requires 250 blocks, and Bybit requires 150.
- Cardano (ADA): Confirmations decreased from 30 to 6. This is lower than Binance (30) and Kraken (15).
- Litecoin (LTC) & Zcash (ZEC): LTC confirmations dropped from 5 to 2. ZEC dropped from 6 to 4. Binance currently requires 15 blocks for ZEC.
