The round was led by Animoca and included additional investments from Liquid X Ventures, Chainridge VC, Ticker Capital, Flying Falcon, and BSCN Gaming Ventures.
Another Win for AOFverse
For AOF, it’s more than just offering new gaming features. AOF emphasizes that deep social connections through gaming are the first step toward mass adoption of Web3 technology. The London-based studio is gearing up for the global launch of its PvP game Army Of Tactics, which has garnered over 1 million downloads since its soft launch in October 2023.
Moreover, the studio hopes to launch its flagship game, Army Of Fortune, later this year which is set to be a genre-defining PvP game.
The AOFverse ecosystem relies on a strong player base that forms a tight-knit community with token-based incentives to reward players introducing others to the ecosystem. These incentives form the foundation of the whole ecosystem and reward players for their competitive spirit inside the game.
A primary motivator for this funding round was to execute full throttle on their roadmap initiatives to be the go-to mobile gaming ecosystem in web3.
