Resolution Criteria:

• Resolves to "Up" if the official S&P 500 Index closing price for S&P 500 (SPX) at Market Close is equal to or higher than the Market Target.
• Resolves to "Down" if the official S&P 500 Index closing price for S&P 500 (SPX) at Market Close is lower than the Market Target.

Resolution Details:

• The resolution source for this market is the Wall Street Journal, specifically the Close values published by the WSJ under "Historical Prices".

Cancellation Conditions:

• The resolution source is unavailable or experiences significant disruptions during the Market Period.
• The SPX does not trade at all during the entire session.
• Reliable resolution is rendered impossible for any reason.
• Any circumstance prevents reliable price tracking during the Market Period.

If the market is cancelled, participants can claim their stakes at the then-current market value of their shares, which could result in a profit or a loss depending on the price of those shares at cancellation.
