Paris Hilton gifted every audience member with a non-fungible token (NFT) during her recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show."
Her announcement came during a conversation with Fallon about her upcoming NFT collection called "Forever Fairytale," a collection of memories with husband Carter Reum.
"I think people are gonna love this," Fallon said before Hilton replied, "You love it so much I want to give you the first one. And I want to give one to everyone in the audience."
"I think that's the first NFT giveaway in television history," Fallon added.
The NFT collection is being done in partnership with Superplastic and is being released on the Origin Protocol.
Hilton also showed off her Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT on the show, which she said she bought after Fallon jumped in on the BAYC bandwagon.
"I'm so happy I taught you what they were. I went and copied you and did the same thing," she said as Fallon held up a picture of her NFT to the audience.
"I love being a part of this community, being a voice and sharing my platform. It's such an incredible thing to be a part of."
This is not the first time Hilton has been exposed to the crypto industry. In November 2021, she joined NFT platform Origyn and also joined Origin—the Ethereum NFT project—as an advisor last summer. The two projects are not related despite how similar their names are.
Hilton is so tied up with NFTs that she may have already forgotten that she released some when she released "her first NFT" last March.
