A Gigachad (GIGA) investor got the Solana meme coin’s contract address tattooed on his chest. But once he posted the proof on Twitter, he discovered that the token address now permanently imprinted on his skin was actually wrong.
Pseudonymous Twitter user Hop said he decided that he wanted to get a tattoo dedicated to his favorite meme coin because, he claimed, the token has completely changed his life “mentally, spiritually, and of course financially.”
Another GIGA community member got the ticker tattooed, purportedly, when the token was at an $18 million market cap. Now with a market cap over $175 million, Hop decided to get the contract address permanently marked on his skin, in a style inspired by bible verse scripture tattoos.
“My artist has been my artist for over a year, and my other tattoos are not cookie-cutter at all, so he was used to my weird ideas.” Hop told Decrypt. “He did keep calling me a crypto nerd as he was doing the piece, LMAO.”
Less than 30 minutes after proudly posting his tattoo on Twitter, however, someone pointed out that a mistake had been made.
“Is it deliberately different to the address you posted above, or is that a mistake by the tattoo artist?” one Twitter user said. “No ragrets,” Hop jokingly responded, likely referencing a popular meme image drawn from the comedy film “We’re The Millers.”
Realizing his mistake, he hit up his tattoo artist to deliver the bad news. “Damn dog!” His tattoo artist replied, “That’s why I was like double, triple-check shit. I’ll find a hieroglyph to cover it.”
But Hop isn’t upset.

“I’m not mad about it, because I was going to have to explain what it meant to normies anyways,” Hop explained. “No random person is going to know there’s a typo unless I tell them.”
Since Hop’s tattoo was posted and went viral, the price of GIGA has jumped, pushing the coin’s weekly gains to a blistering 49% as of this writing at a current price of about $0.018.
